The Free Gift
Do you feel lost and alone at
times? Do you feel like no one loves you? Are there burdens
that you're carrying that you need help with? There was a time when
I felt that way. I felt that no one cared about me or really even
knew that I existed. I didn't feel special, wanted or loved. I
had so many burdens that I felt I had to carry on my own. Then, I
found out that God was always there with me. He was there to carry
me when I felt like I just couldn't go on anymore. He was there to
lift me up, dry my tears and set me on solid ground. Do you feel
like you can't trust anyone? I felt that way too. I remembered
that I could always trust and rely on Jesus, my saviour, the one that laid
his life down so that I might have eternal life. Life is
short and there is no gaurantee what will happen next year, next month,
next week, tomorrow or today. Do you know where you will be when you
die? God loved us so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ,
to die for you taking upon Him all of your sins so that you might live in
eternity with Him. All we have to do is believe this in our hearts
and accept God's free Gift of Jesus Christ. We don't have
to earn it, we don't have to make up for all the past sins we committed
first. All we need to do is say "Lord, I accept your free
Gift. I accept Jesus into my heart. Please forgive me, make me
clean and new. In Jesus Name, Amen." Jesus said "For God so
loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John
3:16. All we have to do is believe. Once you've accepted Jesus
as your Lord and Savior, you are clean. God says that He remembers
your sin no more. Remember that God loves you. When there is
no where else to turn He will always be right there to listen to
you. If you said this prayer and asked Jesus to be your Lord and
Saviour the next step is to find a Christian Church Family who will
love and support you in your walk with Christ. Find a church body
that is loving , caring and full of God's Grace. Ask God to lead you
to the church He would have you be a part of. He will do that
